Girls hoops roundup: Stoughton's third-quarter rally beats Milton

Stoughton rallied out of halftime to beat Milton on Friday night.

The Vikings outscored the Red Hawks 22-10 in the third quarter to escape a Badger South Conference girls basketball home game with a 54-44 victory.

Hannah Hobson had 19 points to lead Stoughton, which trailed Milton by two points at halftime.

Breezy Bucholtz had a dozen points and Anna Gunderson added 10 for the Red Hawks, who fell to 3-17 overall and 2-8 in the Badger South.

• Burlington 38, Delavan-Darien 31—The Demons held the Comets to four points in the fourth quarter to win an SLC home game.

The teams were tied 27-27 after three quarters before Burlington pulled away.

Kylie Collins led Delavan-Darien with 13 points, but the Comets fell to 6-13 overall and 4-9 in league play.
