Morris James Webb, 92, of Edgerton, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at the Golden Living Center, Fort Atkinson. He was born on Jan. 25, 1922, son of the late Arthur and Helga (Hanson) Webb. He was united in marriage to Virginia Stark-Reese, on Dec. 17, 1949, in Dubuque, IA. Morris owned and operated a farm in Green County, for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking and yard work. Morris was in the United States Army, where he received the purple heart when wounded at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the VFW, DAV, American Legion and the Purple Heart Club.

Morris is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Virginia; one son, Maurice (Debra) Webb, both of Edgerton; one grandson, John Webb; three great-grandchildren: Jerold, Sierra and Ezra; one great-great-grandson, Jaiden; and one sister, Wilma Holiday of IL. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jerold Webb and Kenneth Reese; four brothers: Oliver, Arnold, DuWayne and Harvey Hawkinson.
