The Walworth County Affordable Care Act Awareness Steering Committee is hosting a number of insurance workshops to answer questions and provide more information on the Affordable Care Act.

People who are uninsured or underinsured—don't have minimal essential health coverage—in 2014 for more than 90 days may face a “shared responsibility payment,” also known as the “fee for not having insurance” when they file their 2014 taxes.

For Marketplace (healthcare.gov) insurance coverage to begin on April 1, residents must apply and enroll in insurance by March 15.

The free informational in-person sessions with Katherine Gaulke, community advocate, will be held:

• Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m., Aram Public Library, 404 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan, WI (262) 728-3111
