City of Janesville officials asking residents to clear around storm sewers

As temperatures rise, the city of Janesville is asking residents to remove snow and ice from storm sewer catch basins near their properties to minimize flooding.

Janesville has received a higher than average amount of snow this season, and clearing the storm sewers will give the water a place to go, according to the release.
