Walworth County Visitors Bureau certified by state visitors association
DELAVAN — The state has certified the Walworth County Visitors Bureau as an official destination marketing organization.
The Wisconsin Association of Convention and Visitors Bureau recently certified the nonprofit because the it sees the important connection between promoting tourism and economic prosperity, according to a Walworth County Visitors Bureau release.
The state association works with the top destination marketing organizations in the state to promote Wisconsin's tourism industry and enhance the state's legislative and educational efforts.
The association has 39 members, according to the release, and represents more than $35 million in budgets that help Wisconsin tourism grow.
