February 10, 2014

Beverly (Larson) LaVeen passed away Feb. 10, 2014, at her home with her family by her side. Beverly worked several jobs in Janesville, and retired from Mercy Hospital housekeeping in 2007. Bev attended high school in Westby, and Janesville. Children and grandchildren were the center of Bev's world. Each has their memories of the special times they spent together, trick or treating, Easter dresses, vacations. They will remember Beverly's smile and her joy of life. The 32 years of happiness with her soul mate, Charlie Reinsbach, were filled with traveling, sightseeing, walking trails and fishing. Camping in a tent was upgraded to a motor home. Their travels took them to New York, Nevada, and Florida. Wherever they went they made new friends due to their joy of life which drew people to them. Their home on Ruger Avenue was filled with love. This was the setting for many family celebrations including birthdays and graduations. Bev and Charlie decorated for each and every season. In July of 2013, a surprise birthday party was held in Beverly's honor at Uncle Olaf Lindevig's farm in Westby. She was very happy to spend time with family and Larson cousins. The weekend was filled with stories, memories, and lots of laughter. The surprise included the appearance by Bev's favorite performer, Elvis.

Beverly is survived by her children: Sherry (Doug) LaVeen, Randy LaVeen, and Kelly (Rich) Erdman, all of Janesville; eight grandchildren: Lindsey, twins: Ashley and Amber, Brittany, Richie, Jr., Bobby Jo, Brooke, and Anna. She has three great-grandchildren: Bella, Angelina, and Michael. Beverly is also survived by her sisters, Diane (Bill) Schreier and Luann (Curtis) Dumdie; and her brother, Brian Larson. She was preceded in death by her soul mate and best friend, Charles Reinsbach; the father of her children, Robert LaVeen; and her parents, Elbin and Alva (Lindevig) Larson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at EMMANUEL FREE METHODIST CHURCH, 4224 Whilden Ct., with Rev. Dan Grimes officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
