Evelyn "Curly" Hallett Roehl, age 100, of Janesville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Rock Haven, Janesville. She was the daughter of Charles and Hattie (Honeysett) Hallett. She married Edwin Roehl on Feb. 27, 1931. He predeceased her on Sept. 27, 1983. She worked at Sears for 25 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Town of Center.

"Curly" is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Seattle, and Allen (Mary) of Milton. Further survivors include four grandsons: Bradley (Sharon), Jeff (Dawn) of Milton, Scott (Lavonne) Benash of Janesville, and Gary (friend, Lisa) Roehl of Seattle; three granddaughters: Tara Roehl Linder of Anacortes, WA, Jennifer (friend Dan) Roehl of Woodbury, MN, and Betsy Roehl (Scott) Schroeder of Janesville. Her family includes five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Darleen Roehl Benash; infant son, Curtess; daughter-in-law, Katie Bell Roehl; five brothers; two sisters; nieces; and nephews.

A Private service will be held at the ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, Milton.
