Mildred M. Mutchler, age 92, of Jefferson, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Sylvan Crossing. She was born on Jan. 25, 1922, in Jefferson, a daughter of the late John and Agatha (Endl) Dremler. She married Harvey Mutchler on Feb. 3, 1940; he preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1993. Mildred had been employed at the Larson Canning Factory in Fort Atkinson, Schweiger Industries, and the Jefferson School District until her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, and the St. Ann Society. Mildred also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul.

Mildred will be deeply missed by her family: her daughter, Joanne (Don) Kraus of Jefferson, and her son, Thomas Mutchler of Jefferson; six grandchildren: Laurie (Mark) Teeter, John (Clarissa) Kraus, Julie (Dan) Naggatz, Shari (Nick) Doran, Dale Kraus, and Jeff Kraus; nine great-grandchildren: Nicolas Teeter, Lauren Teeter, Jake Doran, Claudia Doran, Erynn Freson, Sam Naggatz, Sage Simmons, John Kraus, and Johannah Kraus. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Mutchler; and two brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH in Jefferson, with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be at the CHURCH on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
