Will Brown and Isiah Ramos led Delavan-Darien’s 3-point barrage that eventually subdued visiting Waterford in two overtimes.

Brown and Ramos each had six 3-pointers as the Comets set a school record with 16 in a 75-74 Southern Lakes Conference boys basketball victory on Friday night.

Ramos finished with 20 points and Brown had 18 as the Comets improved to 2-10 in the SLC and 4-15 overall.

Delavan-Darien senior John Damrow’s tip-in sent the game into the first overtime. In the second overtime, Brown and Waterford’s Trace Hunsucker traded a pair of 3-pointers to tie the game at 71. Brown added another 3 and then freshman Ethan Cesarz put in an offensive rebound to put the Comets ahead 75-74 with 4 seconds left.

Waterford inbounded the ball and was pressured. Just after the buzzer, Greyson Wolf-Dixon threw up a shot from just beyond the half-court line that went in but was waved off.

Hunsucker had 24 points and Wolf-Dixon 23 for the Wolverines (6-5).
