Girls basketball: Evansville beats Big Foot
Riley Miller and Brielle Greenleaf combined for 29 first-half points to lead the Evansville girls basketball team to victory on Saturday.
The Blue Devils built a 13-point lead by halftime and were never threatened in the second half of a 71-51 Rock Valley Conference crossover victory over visiting Big Foot.
Miller finished with a game-high 25 points, scoring 19 of them before the break. Greenleaf added 16 as the Devils improved to 3-10 overall and 3-6 in conference.
Morgan Courier scored 21 points for the Chiefs, who fell to 2-12 and 1-8.
