Sun Prairie downs Fury
Jada Warn scored four goals to lead Sun Prairie over the Rock County Fury in girls high school hockey on Thursday night.
Warn gave the Cardinals the lead late in the first period, scored twice in the second and got a fourth goal in the third on the way to a 5-1 victory.
“Sun Prairie is one of the best teams in the state,” Fury coach Darrel Moore said. “We can’t give teams like that 49 shots to our 10 and expect to win.”
Katie Maegli scored the lone goal for the Fury, the area’s co-op team. Ellie Woodman had an assist.
Madison Lewis stopped 44 shots for Rock County, which plays at 7 p.m. on Saturday in Beloit.
