Your Views: Gazette carrier invites critic for a ride-along
For the last few weeks, I have been reading complaints concerning Gazette carriers in the Sound Off column. I understand that late deliveries, missed deliveries and many other delivery service problems happen. However, do you really understand what it takes to deliver your paper every day?
Therefore, I would like to invite a customer (the person does not have to be a customer of mine) who has a complaint with their Gazette service to ride with me on my route. I take my job seriously and am willing to try and get someone to understand what I do seven days a week, then write a letter to the editor and tell everyone else what they learned.
