Elinor Regina Pfaff, Bluffton, IN/formerly Janesville, WI (1922-2014)

Elinor Regina Pfaff, age 91, of Bluffton, IN, formerly of Janesville, WI, was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014. She was born Oct. 2, 1922, in Aberdeen, SD, to the late Bernard and Anna (Usselmann) Biegler. She married Aelred (Tom) Pfaff on June 6, 1946. He preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 1993. She worked for Panoramic Corp. for 12 years. She was a Girl Scout leader at St. Patrick's School, and was actively involved in the PTA. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling with her husband, drawing, and spending time with her grandchildren. As she liked to say, "I'm a tough old girl!"
Elinor is survived by her five children: Cheryl Krull of Machesney Park, IL, Roger Pfaff of Hemet, CA, Linda Nellen of Madison, WI, Mary Humphrey of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Wayne (Amy) Pfaff of Ossian, IN; her 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Helen Biegler of Aberdeen, SD, and Sally Millard of Seattle, WA. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur.
Funeral services with a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 315 Cherry St., with Fr. James Kuhn officiating. Entombment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call on Friday evening, Jan. 31, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, or on Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the CHURCH.
