Intoxicated driving arrests
-- DANIELLE M. SCHWARTZ, 26, of Rockton, at 1:14 a.m. Jan. 28, on Highway 14 at Pontiac Drive, Janesville.
-- ANTWONN R. SIMMONS, 19, of 1233 Fir St., Janesville, charged with burglary and theft. He is accused in connection with a burglary at Best Events Catering, 2030 Center Ave., Janesville, on Nov. 6, 2013.
-- RICHARD A. HENKEL, 44, of 27 Iki Drive, No. 3, Edgerton, charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine near a school and possession of marijuana. Police arrested him Tuesday at Stop-N-Go, 1604 E. Racine St., Janesville, after a source told police of receiving text messages offering "white candy" for sale. Police used further texts to set up a meeting at the store. Henkel is accused of possessing three bags of white powder inside a cigarette package, as well as marijuana.
-- HIGHWAY 51 JUST NORTH OF AIRPORT ROAD, JANESVILLE, at 8:36 a.m. Saturday, when a small pickup truck driven by Theodore Driscoll, 51, of 471 E. Woodland Drive, Beloit, was traveling north on Highway 51, slid on the snow-covered road, crossed into the southbound lanes and rolled over, coming to rest against the airport fence. Driscoll was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
-- HARMONY TOWN HALL ROAD JUST SOUTH OF TOWNLINE ROAD, TOWN OF HARMONY, at 9:22 a.m. Sunday, when a small pickup truck driven by Mark R. Peterson, 56, of 2530 Liberty Lane, Janesville, was northbound and slid on the snow-covered Harmony Town Hall Road, overturning in the ditch. Peterson was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. He was cited for unreasonable/imprudent speed.
