The Rock County Fury had a productive weekend.

The area high school girls co-op hockey team picked up a pair of wins.

Rock County beat Black River Falls, 5-2, on Friday night, and bounced back with an 8-0 shutout win over Viroqua on Saturday.

Ellie Woodman had a hat trick in the win over Black River Falls, while Jessica Jerome had two goals and an assist against Viroqua.

“We played very poor on Friday night,” Rock County Darrel Moore said. “We did not hustle or play our systems. We were lucky to come out with a win.

“But I was very happy with our girls versus Viroqua. We hustled, executed our systems and played very unselfishly. We did a great job of moving the puck to the wide side in all three zones.”

Rock County is now 10-7-2 overall.
