Robert G. Holtzheimer, 81, of Genoa City, WI, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Lakeview Specialty Hospital and Rehab in Waterford, WI. Bob was born June 15, 1932, in Powers Lake, WI, the son of the late Clarence F. and Anna (Kretschmer) Holtzheimer. Bob attended grade school at St. Alphonsus Catholic School in New Munster, WI. Bob worked for many years as a farm hand until in the 80’s he was nearly killed when he was gored by a bull. He, then, worked for several different places as janitor including General Woodworkers, Palmer-Synder and 10 years with Elkhorn Motors, all of Elkhorn, WI. Bob enjoyed sitting in a chair in the sun watching people and traffic go by.

Bob is survived by one brother, Ray (Sue) Holtzheimer of Curtis, WI; two sisters, Colletta Brehm of Burlington, WI, and Martha Wilger of Alabama. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Andy and John Holtzheimer; three sisters: Rose Zurek, Lorraine Uhen and Ruth Holtzheimer.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at ST. JOSEPH’S CATHOLIC CEMETERY, Lyons, WI, with Father Oriol Regales Officiating. On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com. Arrangements completed by HAASE-LOCKWOOD & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, Elkhorn.
