Elizabeth "Betty" (Brunsell) Graham went to Heaven on Jan. 15, 2014, at 90 years of age, after a short illness with cancer. She was born March 22, 1923, the second oldest daughter of Harley and Florence (Norum) Brunsell, raised with nine siblings and lived in Evansville area, for more then half her life. She graduated from Evansville High School, married Robert Graham and they owned and operated the Cozy Cafe (Dog Wagon) for many years. They worked in several fine dining and country club restaurants in Illinois and Wisconsin, before retiring in Pewaukee, WI. Betty was a remarkable lady living her life independently and joyfully right up until the last few months. She loved her family, friends and home, traveling to visit her daughters, pets, plants, fishing and life in general. She was a big sports fan of Badger football and basketball, Green Bay Packers, Brewers, and the Bucks. Betty enjoyed participating in most sports, was good in softball as a pitcher and recently bowled in three different leagues.

Betty is survived by her daughters: Ann (Paul) Koeshall of Alpine, CA, and Sue (Bud) Kleinsmith of Brentwood, TN; brothers and sisters: Dorothy (Clarence) Taplin of Plain WI, Elwyn (Leslie) Brunsell of Janesville, WI, Jean Hackman of Davenport, FL, Judy (Bud) Hatlevig of Friendship, WI, David (Sharon) Brunsell of Madison, WI; step grandsons: Daniel, David, and Kurt (Michelle) Koeshall; ten step great- grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Graham; mother, Florence Brunsell; father, Harley Brunsell; sisters, Joan Brunsell and Luanne Townsend; brothers, Gerald Brunsell and Richard Brunsell; sisters-in-law, Joanne Brunsell and Janice Brunsell; brothers-in-law: Bruce Townsend, Ron Stillman and Bob Hackman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday Jan. 20, 2014, at the WARD-HURTLEY FUNERAL HOME, Evansville. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Evansville. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charities of your choice in Betty's name.
