City will start plowing Saturday afternoon
JANESVILLE—The Janesville Department of Public Works will begin plowing streets early afternoon Saturday and will continue until all residential streets have been plowed.
The current forecast predicts an additional 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation Saturday morning, and plowing will be delayed until after snowfall diminishes.
A snow emergency has not been declared, but the city is requesting that residents move their vehicles from city streets by noon Saturday to facilitate plowing.
If weather conditions worsen and a snow emergency declaration becomes necessary, additional information will be provided.
Anyone who has a question about whether a snow emergency has been declared should call the snow hotline at 608-755-SNOW (7669).
To report a problem, call the City Services Center at 608-755-3110 to leave a message.
