Slippery roads cause car accidents, runoffs
JANESVILLE—Slippery roads caused several accidents and runoffs Tuesday night.
At 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, a semitrailer truck jackknifed blocking all westbound lanes of traffic on Interstate 90/39 just outside of the town of Turtle. The accident was cleared around 8:30 p.m.
There were at least half-a-dozen minor crashes Tuesday night, all caused by the ice, said Matt Bender, shift supervisor at Rock County Dispatch.
