Your Views: Don’t miss ‘Secret Garden’ at Edgerton arts center
Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending Rock River Repertory Theatre’s musical production of “The Secret Garden.” I found the performance a remarkable display of serious local talent that one should not miss. Packed with wonderful musicianship, exceptional acting and transformative staging, the show provides a gift of inspiration and compassion to all who experience it.
“The Secret Garden’s” promise of spring and personal transformation supplies a sure remedy for the frostbite and playoff woes that ail us at the moment. Catch this outstanding musical if you know the literary or film versions of this tale, appreciate musical theater, or simply seek warmth from this coming weekend’s chill.
“The Secret Garden” will be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, and 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Edgerton Performing Arts Center, 200 Elm High Drive, Edgerton. Tickets are available at Edgerton Pharmacy, 711 N Main St., Edgerton, or at www.rockriverrep.com.
