Roberta F. Brown, 98, of Beloit, WI, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, in Pioneer Court. She was born Oct. 7, 1915, on a farm in Rockton, IL, the daughter of Robert and Olive (Cole) Fairchild. Roberta attended Hononegah High School. She married Seth Brown on Nov. 22, 1935, in Rockford, IL. He predeceased her on May 1, 1991. Roberta was a member of River of Life United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children: Marilyn Busjahn, Donald (Ceil) Brown, David (Bev) Brown and Jerry (Diane) Brown; her grandchildren: Sharon (Steve) Clark, Steve (Lisa) Busjahn, Mary Dummer, Eileen Brown, Jeremy Brown, Kelly (Dennis Knautz) Bockhop, Kim (Mike) Keister, Mike (Lynell) Brown, and Bridget Brown; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters, Bessie (Hugh) Sproul and Hazel (Joe) Connell.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at the DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend David Carlson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the FUNERAL HOME.

Memorials may be given in Roberta's name to the Beloit Regional Hospice or River of Life United Methodist Church.
