Amtrak to expand its free wireless Internet access on Hiawatha lines

Passengers who take trains on Amtrak's Hiawatha line between Milwaukee and Chicago will be getting free wireless Internet access early next year, according to a story in the Business Journal.

Amtrak officials say about 75 percent of its passengers use its Wi-Fi. The company has begun expanding its AmtrakConnect wireless Internet access on its lines in a number of states, including Illinois and Wisconsin.

Passengers on trains along the Hiawatha route should have access to the wireless internet it by February.
