Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story shines spotlight on Glen Loyd
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Lee Bergquist recently looked into the life of video blogger Glen Loyd. Here's an excerpt:
If the name is familiar, it could be because you remember Loyd as a consumer affairs specialist at the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, where he would go on the radio and TV or get quoted in a newspaper, warning the public about scams, product recalls and unsavory telemarketers.
He and his wife, Christine, live in Madison but spend about half the week in Janesville at his son's home, where they care for their granddaughter. It's there that he puts together his videos in his studio.
