LAKE GENEVA--Were you among the participants braving temperatures in the teens to see the Lake Geneva Great Electric Children's Christmas Parade on December 7? You can relive a little bit of the magic via TV in the warmth of your living room this New Year's Eve.

The annual parade has been a tradition for 38 years, and its popularity doesn't wane as witnessed by the crowds this year.

The event featured churches, schools, businesses and dignitaries. More than 70 participants from surrounding communities spent days, weeks, or even months in preparing their floats.

This year the parade was also featured on a Milwaukee news station's program--WISN12's “Season to Celebrate,” which aired earlier this month and was rebroadcast on Christmas Eve.

WISN's chief meteorologist Mark Baden was part of the parade, accompanied by 200 members of the Badger High School's marching band.

“Season to Celebrate” will run again at 10:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve, Tuesday, December 31.
