EVANSVILLE—Howard H. Cook, age 92, died at Kelly House, where he spent the last 1 years. He was born May 7, 1921, the son of Raymond and Bertha (Libke) Cook. Howard was in the U.S. Army for 3 years, serving in England, France, Belgium and Germany during World War II. He married Eunice Schoonover in Dubuque, IA. He worked as a serviceman for Helgeson Harvestor until retiring. He loved to hunt, fish, travel with friends, go to casinos for fun and gambling. He enjoyed collecting all kinds of things.

Howard is survived by his sister, Dorothy Erb of Janesville; his stepchildren, Sandra Houchin of Janesville and Kathryn (Herb) Hermanson of Evansville. He was predeceased by his wife, Eunice in 1985; his stepson, Roy Jackson; brothers: Raymond Jr., Charlie, John, Robert, Lyle, Lawrence, and Roy; sisters, Joan Kerl and Ruth Snygg.

Visitation will be at WARD FUNERAL HOME, Evansville on Friday, December 27, from 9:15 until 11:15. There will be a commital service at 11:15 a.m. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Center Township.
