Three arrested in Monday robbery

JANESVILLE—Three people are in custody for an armed robbery of the EZ Payday Cash Store, 1603 Milton Ave., on Monday.

Janesville police responded to a call at 2:19 p.m. from an employee who said a male wearing a mask, black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans robbed the store, according to the police news release.

Damario J. Graham, 22, Janesville, kept his hand inside a black duffle bag and did not show a weapon when he demanded the employee to give him the money from a cash register, according to the release.

Graham left the business on foot, then got into a vehicle in the parking lot of the Taco Bell restaurant at 1619 Milton Ave. A female drove the vehicle, which contained another female occupant, according to the release.

Police later found the vehicle with the suspects and evidence inside.

Marisela Santana, 18, Janesville, and a 17-year-old female from Monroe were arrested and charged with party to a crime, armed robbery. Graham, who was arrested and charged with armed robbery, admitted to the police he committed the crime, according to the release.
