Mildred Eleanor Dorothy Splitter, 90, of Edgerton, passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at her home, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Feb. 16, 1923, in Edgerton, a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Anna (Rodenz) Heller. She was united in marriage on Aug. 15, 1962, to Donald W. Splitter, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Edgerton. Millie was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Edgerton. Millie had worked at Nun-Bush, IKI and in the pen division at Panoramic. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, vacationing in Branson, MO, with Donald, sitting on her sun porch and taking day long trips. Her special love was spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Millie is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald of Edgerton; three daughters: Diana (Peter) Ebbott of Lake Mills, Sandra Zinda of Edgerton, and Anna (Robert) Hoyt of Lake Mills; one son, David (Patricia) Hedden of Racine; five grandchildren: Lori, Michael, Craig, Chad and Brent; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Emma, Meta and Elizabeth; and three brothers: Carl, Harold and Walter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at ST. JOHN EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Edgerton, with the Rev. Carl Seeger officiating. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery. Friends may call at the CHURCH on Thursday, Dec. 19, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The EHLERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES of Edgerton, is assisting the family.
