Middleton takes title at Parker Relays

JANESVILLE--Big Eight boys swim powerhouses Middleton and Madison West dominated the Parker Relays on Saturday.

Middleton won seven of 10 events in coasting to the team title with 149 points. West was second with 136, while Janesville Craig was third with 90. Host Janesville Parker tied for sixth with 71.

Craig’s 200 freestyle relay team had Janesville’s top finish. The team of Travis Reese, Erik Tollefsrud, Brad Sullivan and Peter Loftus was second with a time of 1:37.75. The Cougars finished third in the 200 medley and 300 backstroke.

Parker’s 400 freestyle relay team of Wyatt Jackson, Mark Gosline, Austin Wolter and Sam Amundson was third with a time of 3:39.16.
