Janesville Jets cruise to 4-1 win

JANESVILLE—The Janesville Jets raced out to a 3-0 lead Saturday night and coasted to an NAHL win at the Janesville Ice Skating Center.

Kyle Patava had two goals to lift the Jets to a 4-1 win over the Soo Eagles. The teams split the weekend North Division two-game series.

Patava started the scoring for Janesville at 4:40 of the first period on an assist from Jeff Alderfer. Hoglund made it 2-0 with an unassisted goal at 16:51 of the first.

Logan Halladay started in net for Janesville and made 32 saves in picking up the win.

Janesville hosts Springfield next Friday and Saturday.
