Grainger Foundation supports Mercy

JANESVILLE—Mercy Foundation received $1,000 from The Grainger Foundation—an independent, private foundation—in support of the House of Mercy Homeless Center.

The House of Mercy is a 25-bed facility that provides homeless families with short-term, emergency shelter and access to community resources.

The donation was recommended by Bill Koening, vice president, brand management integration of W.W. Grainger's Janesville location.

Mercy Foundation's mission is to inspire positive change and healing through philanthropic giving. Gifts and donations support community outreach programs, certain capital improvements, technological advancements and other programs integral to the mission of Mercy Health System.
