Christopher A. Becker, Madison (1967 - 2013)
February 13, 1967 - November 27, 2013
Christopher A. Becker, 46, Madison, WI, died as a result of a fall while in Wausau. He was born in Madison, on Feb. 13, 1967, and attended school there and, later, in Janesville, where he graduated from Craig High School. He received his Bachelors degree from UW-Madison. He was employed with Cincinnati Insurance Companies from 1997 until early November. His title was Senior Claims Specialist in common vernacular “insurance adjuster.” Chris was a very sensitive individual and had great empathy for others. You could count on him for good conversation and a listening ear. Photography was his passion and he took many pictures on his extensive travels throughout the world. He also loved photographing birds. He had a real soft spot for animals, especially his mother's cats. While in high school, he played soccer and continued to follow international soccer. He lived by the philosophy, “Live simply so that others might live.”
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Becker. He is survived by his mother, Lette Becker of Wausau; one brother, Todd Becker of Madison; aunts and uncles: Wayne Becker, Robert G. Becker, Steve (Connie) Zick, Ted Zick, and Sandy (Carl) Boehme; and cousins: Mark (Kathy) Zick, David (Carla) Zick, Rodney (Rhonda) Zick, Joy Buchberger, Linda (Lee) Anderson, Dawn Zick, Tiffanie (Ben) Wright, Ann (Scott) Hunger, Andy (Heather) Becker, and Joel Becker.
Chris was an organ donor. We hope that his death will restore health to others.
