Police seek suspect in Saturday robbery

JANESVILLE—Police are looking for a suspect in a Saturday morning armed robbery at EZ Loan, 1603 Milton Avenue in Janesville.

At 9:51 a.m. Saturday, Janesville Police responded to EZ Loan to a report that a robbery had just taken place, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department. 

The suspect entered the store with a knife in his hand and demanded money from the clerk. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and fled west.

Police searched the surrounding area and were unable to locate the man, the news release said.

The suspect is described as a male black with a slender build wearing a wig of long black hair that partially covered his face. He is approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and wearing a black jacket and tight black jeans.
