JANESVILLE—Janesville police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store on East Racine Street with a knife Thursday night, according to a news release.

A man entered the Stop-N-Go at 1604 E. Racine St. around 11:30 p.m. and demanded money from a clerk after he "presented a knife," police said.

The robber ran west away from the store with "an undisclosed amount" of money, according to the release.

Officers searched the area but couldn't find the man, authorities said, and no arrests have been made.

Police said the robber was a black man between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches tall, wearing a black jacket and black jeans.
