JANESVILLE--Community Action, Inc. of Rock and Walworth Counties plans to move its administrative office from 200 W. Milwaukee Ave. in Janesville to the Pathways Center at 20 Eclipse Center in Beloit.

The move is set to take place on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

“Combining the administrative and program staff in one place allows for increased staff collaboration and reduced overhead costs,” Community Action Executive Director Lisa Furseth was quoted as saying in a news release.

With the move, there will be no changes to Community Action's  programs in Janesville. Community Action will continue to operate the Early Learning Center at 2230 Center Ave. in Janesville, the First Choice Health Center and Wisconsin Well Women Program at 1015 Burbank St. in Janesville and the Weatherization program at 3310 S. U.S. Highway 51 in Janesville.

“Community Action continues to build its 48-year history of extraordinary service to residents or Rock and Walworth county,” Furseth said. “Continually growing with the community, we remain committed to meeting the needs of our program participants and local communities.”
