Jets split with Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ill.—The Janesville Jets had no answer for Stefanos Lekkas on Saturday night.

The Springfield goalie stopped 15 of 16 shots he faced to lead the Blues to a 4-1 NAHL win over the Jets and a split of the two-game series.

Janesville trailed 4-0 before Michael Louria scored on a power-play goal with just under five minutes remaining.

Brock Kautz suffered the loss in net despite 26 saves.

The Jets pplay at Springfield again on Wednesday before hosting Coulee Region on Friday night at the Janesville Ice Skating Center.
