Phyllis Ermina Mae Younger, age 101, passed away on Nov. 18, 2013, at the Masonic Health and Rehab Center. She was born on May 13, 1912, in Superior, WI, to Erma (Becker) and George McLeod. She married Theodore (Ted) Younger on Oct. 25, 1944, in Washington DC. Phyllis was a registered nurse and worked in hospitals, as well as, doing private duty nursing and, later, worked for the Visiting Nurse Assoc.

Phyllis and Ted spent many winters in Florida, during their retirement years enjoying the warmer winters, fresh fruit and fish. They had lived at Three Pillars Retirement Center for 15 years before moving to the Masonic Health and Rehab Center, 400 N. Main St., Dousman, WI.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Ted; two children, Charles T. (Bonnie) Younger of Milwaukee, and Jocine L. (Robin) Merline of Menasha; four granddaughters: Elizabeth L. Younger of Boston, MA, Monica Merline of Oshkosh, Andrea (Ree) Rodriguez of Downey, CA, and Tammy Merline of Ozark, MO; and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be no service at this time.
