-- CARDELL M. MCALLISTER, 27, of 1990 Prairie Ave., Beloit, at 3:42 p.m. Sunday at Roman's 66 gas station, 104 Center Ave., Janesville, on a charge of forgery. He is accused of passing a counterfeit $20 bill at Denny's Grain & Grape Shop, 1514 E. Racine St., Janesville, and of possessing another counterfeit bill.


-- ROBBERY reported at 11:29 p.m. Nov. 4. A Janesville man said he was pushed down, punched and robbed of $25 at the corner of Locust and Holmes streets, Janesville.

-- THEFT of about six rings, valued at $3,900, and $850 in cash, reported by an elderly Janesville man who told police he befriended a dancer at a strip club last February. The dancer had made many visits to his house. He recently discovered the items missing and suspected the dancer.

-- BURGLARY to a foreclosed residence on South Kemp Road, town of Bradford, reported Nov. 11 by the bank that owns it.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JOY J. VERHEIN, 32, of 2008 N. Lexington Drive, Janesville, at 2:14 a.m. Sunday at Milwaukee and Wisconsin streets, Janesville. Also arrested on a charge of endangering safety with a dangerous weapon.
