Christopher R. Hollmann, age 42, of Janesville, died on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at home. He was born on Aug. 26, 1971, in Queens, NY, and raised in Magnolia, IL, by Sue and Danny Mahoney. He attended high school in Grandville, IL. He had been employed by D & K in Janesville, and loved working at the Armory. Chris loved to cook for his family, and was a Mets and Cowboys fan. He was a son, a brother, and a father and loved nothing more than being Carrie Willi’s fiancé in the home they made together.

Chris is survived in life by his fiancée, Carrie Willi of Janesville; step children, Destiny, Skyler and Damion; beloved dog, Chorty; brothers and sisters: Nicole (Josh) Peterson, Gary (Becky) Amaral, Robert (Jennifer) Adams, Michelle Cooper, Michael (Jody) Cooper, Amy Fitzgerald, Amber Killan and Joe Johnson; parents, Dan and Sue Mahoney and Bee Gilliam; many nieces, nephews, including his God children, Angel and Isaiah; and many friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Lana Hollmann; grandparents, John and Betty Bast; and brother, Joey Gilliam.
