Don A. Perrin of Beloit, died on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 82. Don was born to Eldon and Dorothy (Terwilliger) Perrin on March 26, 1931, in Dewitt, MI. He had seven siblings. He served in the United States Navy from 1949 until 1953, on the USS Wisconsin in the Korean War as a second class boatswain's mate. Don went on to Michigan State University where he earned a business degree. After graduation he became the Director of Data Processing for 21 years at the University. Don was an avid Michigan State Spartan fan. He married Beatrice Saul and together they had four children. In 1979, Don moved to Gun Lake, MI, and for the next eleven years operated a very successful restaurant and trailer park. In 1990, he moved to Wisconsin, with Nancy Atkinson, where he worked at SSI Technologies in Janesville. for 20 years. Don enjoyed camping, boating, dancing, along with work, work, work.

Don is survived by his children: Penni Jo (Vaughn) Vandecar, Todd (Tina) Perrin, Judi (Tim) Doran, all from Michigan; his siblings, Donna Riggle and Lyle Perrin; several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and the love of his life, Nancy Atkinson of Beloit. Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Don Marvin Perrin; his sisters, June Pollock and Mary Perkins; his brothers: Jack Perrin, Leon Perrin, and Kenneth Perrin.

There will be a Celebration of Don’s Life on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, with a visitation at 11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Noon at ROSMAN, UEHLING, KINZER FUNERAL HOME in Beloit. Please send online condolences to rukfuneralhome.com.
