Janesville Police looking for robbery suspect

JANESVILLE—Police are looking for a suspect in an attempted robbery.

At 8:47 p.m. Saturday, a white male entered the Citgo Station, 404 N. Parker Drive, Janesville.

The suspect did not display a weapon, but ordered the clerk to give him all the money. The clerk refused and the suspect fled.

Janesville police officers responded to the scene with their K-9 unit, but were unable to track down the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 175 to 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve T-shirt, with black baggy jeans and white tennis shoes.
