John A. Brandl, 64, of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, in Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 26, 1949, in Elkhorn, WI, the son of Alvin J. and P. Edith (Jensen) Brandl. John was a 1967 graduate of Clinton High School, Clinton, WI. He married his high school sweetheart Sandra Wollslair, on June 28, 1969, in Sharon, WI. John was a dairy farmer until being employed by General Motors. He took great pride in his yard and planting flowers. John enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and going to all of their activities. He was a farm toy collector, especially tractors, and attended many toy shows. John was a Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan. He was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Clinton, WI.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Brandl of Beloit, WI; children, Todd (Brenda) Brandl of Clinton, WI, and Tammy (Bill) Kalt of Janesville, WI; grandchildren: Kayla, Taylor, John and Hannah; brothers: Ronald (Jeri) Brandl, James (Carol) Brandl, Michael (Karen) Brandl, Russell (Barb) Brandl, David (Anne) Brandl and Richard Brandl; sisters: Donna (Rich) Reddy, Kristine (Ron) Seeber, Kathy (Mike) Cox, Karen Peck and Phyllis (Larry Wilcox) Brandl; sister-in-law, Marilyn Brandl; numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Jerry Brandl; and brother-in-law, David Peck.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at ST. STEPHEN’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 716 Shu-lar Lane Clinton, WI, with Fr. Bill Connell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Phillips Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the CHURCH. DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
