DuWayne Frederick "Wayne" Romack, Edgerton, WI (1941-2013)

DuWayne F. "Wayne" Romack, 72, of Edgerton, passed away late on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. Wayne was born June 5, 1941, in South Beloit, to the late Kenneth and Ruth Marie (Lay) Romack. He served his country by enlisting in the Marines and was also a member of the Army Reserves. On Nov. 28, 1964, Wayne married Jean Kallner. He drove truck for Farm & Fleet until his retirement. After retiring from Farm & Fleet, he and Jean bought a bar in Rio, WI, called the Packer Inn and ran it from 1996 through 1997. He had been working part time recently for Cox Auto in Edgerton. Wayne loved to ride his motorcycle, traveling the country with Jean. He loved to fish and hunt in his younger years, used to be the best dancer in town, loved the Packers and cherished his time spoiling his Grandbabies.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Jean Romack of Edgerton, WI; three children: Stacy (Spencer) DeRemer of Edgerton, and their child, Brittany Schwartzlow and her child, Tavyn, Toby (Sarah) Romack of Edgerton, and their children, Kylee Burdick and Gus Romack, Kenneth (Deena) Romack of Rio, and their children: Brooklyn, Emma, Luke, and Lexi; siblings: Richard (Hazel) Romack of Janesville, WI, Alice (Richard) Lintvedt of Edgerton, Connie (James) Cox of Lodi, Jo Atkinson of Whitewater; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don Romack; and a sister, Dorothy Romack.
Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at the ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, EDGERTON. Military Rites will be performed at the FUNERAL HOME by the Edgerton Honor Guard. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the FUNERAL HOME from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service.
