BELOIT—David Luck will retire as chief executive officer of building products distributor ABC Supply at the end of the year.

The board of directors of the Beloit-based ABC elected Keith Rozolis, ABC's current president, to succeed Luck.

Luck joined ABC Supply in 1998 as its first outside president and has been chief executive officer since 2008.

He will retire from an active management role but will continue to serve as a member of the board.

During his 15-year tenure at ABC, Luck presided over unprecedented growth of the company, oversaw ABC Supply's largest and most successful acquisition—that of Bradco Supply—and led the subsequent buyout of its minority partner earlier in 2013.

“David has played an integral role in the growth and success that ABC Supply has enjoyed,” said Chairman Diane Hendricks, who co-founded the company with her late husband, Ken, in 1982.

“I am grateful for David's passion, vision and leadership over these past 15 years and especially for his dedication to preserving and advancing the mission and core values on which Ken and I founded this company," Hendricks said.

ABC Supply is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation's largest distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior building products. Headquartered in Beloit, ABC has more than 450 branches in 45 states.
