Lou Ellen (Heinze) Graham, 65, of Chelsea, AL, formerly of Beloit, WI, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, in the University of Alabama at Birmingham - Highlands Hospital. She was born to Henry Louis Heinze and Eleanor Catherine (Traynor) Heinze on Sept. 21, 1948, in Beloit, WI. On July 6, 1974, she married Douglas Wilson Graham and they later divorced in 2008. Lou spent three years in the United States Army and worked as a Radiologic Technologist until 1982. She was a disabled veteran and a bladder cancer survivor. Outside of her two children, Lou's greatest joy came from helping those around her, from family and friends to neighbors and organizations.

Lou is survived by her two children, Kathryn Elizabeth ("Betsy" Graham) Davenport and Douglas Wilson Graham, Jr.; one grandson, Jay Davenport; two brothers, John O. (Kendra) Heinze and Gary E. (Deborah) Heinze; two nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in passing by her parents and sister, Kathryn Elaine (Heinze) Traynor.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at the DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI 53511, with Pastor Roger McCarty officiating. Inurnment will be in Rockton Cemetery, Rockton, IL. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
