Terrance Lee Staver, age 61, of Janesville, passed away Sunday afternoon, Oct. 20, 2013, at the UW Hospital & Clinics, Madison, surrounded by his family. Terry was born Oct. 29, 1951, in Lake Geneva, WI, the son of Roy and Maxine Staver. He was married to the former Pamela R. Bauer on Nov. 10, 1973, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Janesville. He was employed by the Rock County Highway Department for 35 years, to which he was fully dedicated. Terry was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to spend time with his family. He liked fishing, hunting, gardening, and trying his luck at casinos. Terry's terrific sense of humor brought a smile to everyone around him. He will be missed by everyone!

Terry is survived by his wife, Pam; his daughter, Heather (Josh) Andrews; his son, Brent Staver, all of Janesville; his grandsons: Carter, Cayden, and Cullen; his two sisters, Cindi Flynn, of Alabama, and Donna Hagen of Janesville; his brothers, David (Sue) Staver, of Ft. Atkinson, WI, and Floyd "Tom" Schoonover, of Big Flats, WI; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Sandra Stowers and Gladys Ponczock.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, with Fr. John Auby officiating. Burial will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the FUNERAL HOME. Memorials in Terry's name would be appreciated to the National Kidney Foundation-WI Chapter, 16655 W.
