JANESVILLE—Two well-known names in the Janesville printing industry are back in business locally with a Rockford-area printer.

Mark and Mary Terry, formerly of Terry Print Solutions, have joined Meridian, which has expanded into Rock County with a sales office in downtown Janesville.

In Janesville, the Terrys will be joined by Jake Chanson, formerly of Sonoma Graphic Products in Portland, Ore.

"Meridian recently integrated three manufacturing facilities, five warehouse and distribution centers and five customer support locations to help deliver flexibility, innovation and superior service to our customers,” said Bob Chanson, Meridian's president and chief executive officer.

“Our newest expansion into Janesville and the recent hiring of Mark and Mary Terry and Jake Chanson will enable Meridian to better serve existing and new customers in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.”

Meridian Vice President Bruce Vorel said the Terrys are well known in the Janesville area business community with a solid reputation in the graphic design and printing industry.

Mark Terry said Terry Print Solutions closed at the end of January with “too much debt and not enough profit.”

With more than 40 years of industry experience, Meridian is the largest locally owned printing services provider in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. It provides commercial, digital and wide-format printing, as well as comprehensive prepress, bindery and mailing/fulfillment services.
