Your views: Wolf hunt will lead to dog fighting
There will be a wolf hunt this year in Wisconsin. Wisconsin will be the only state in the country that allows dog fighting. Dog fighting is illegal in all 50 states.
Unless a lawsuit against the practice is successful, wolf hunters will be allowed to use packs of dogs to hunt wolves. Wolves will not run away; they will turn and fight. Hence, we have a state-sanctioned dog fight. This is barbarism.
Sen. Fred Risser, D-Madison, authorized a bill to ban using dogs to hunt wolves. However, Sen. Neal Kedzie, chair of the Senate Natural Resources Committee, is refusing to let the bill go to the floor for a vote. Apparently the hunting factions have convinced Kedzie that dog fighting is indeed acceptable.
