Groups can learn about grant funding

JANESVILLE-The VAC Grant Center, a program of the Voluntary Action Center, will present "Community-Facilitated Logic Modeling" and "Understanding the Power of Collaboration" from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the Rock County Job Center, 1900 Center Ave.

The programs are designed for nonprofits and faith and civic organizations seeking tools to increase their grant funding.

Co-facilitators Tammy King, independent consultant and trainer, and Marc Perry, director of community programs for Community Action of Rock and Walworth Counties, will discuss how to develop a community-facilitated logic model and use it to enhance program planning, implementation and dissemination activities through collaboration.

Registration is $45 for VAC Grant Center members and $65 for nonmembers. Payment is due by Friday, Oct. 24.
