Brent Fox to succeed Diane Hendricks as CEO of Hendricks Holding
BELOIT—Brent Fox was named Thursday to succeed Diane Hendricks as chief executive officer of Hendricks Holding Co., a Beloit-based investment and business development group.
Fox, who is Hendricks' son, also was elected to the board of directors of ABC Supply, one of the nation's largest building products distributors.
A 30-year veteran of ABC Supply, Fox served as the company's vice president of national business development since 2011. Hendricks will continue to serve as chair of the company's board of directors.
Hendricks owns both ABC Supply and Hendricks Holding Co., which has a portfolio of 22 companies in a wide array of business sectors around the world.
“Throughout his career at ABC Supply, Brent has welcomed new challenges, accepted positions of increasing responsibility and achieved outstanding results,” said Hendricks, who also is chair and co-founder of ABC Supply. “That experience has prepared him well for these new roles, and I am confident that he will be a success in both.”
David Luck, ABC's chief executive officer, said Fox would be a welcome addition to his company's board.
“We're delighted that we will continue to benefit from his experience, insight and perspective,” Luck said in a news release.
Fox began his career with ABC Supply in 1983 as a truck driver and held a variety of branch positions before being promoted to branch manager in 1989. He joined the company's National Support Center staff in 1994, serving as fleet manager, director of merchandising and purchasing, vice president of merchandising and purchasing, vice president of divisional operations and, ultimately, vice president of national business development.
A Janesville resident, Fox was elected to the Rock County Board in 2010 and re-elected in 2012.
He has served on the boards of a variety of community organizations, including Southern Wisconsin AirFest, the Janesville Performing Arts Center, the Wisconsin Aviation Academy and the city of Janesville Zoning Board of Appeals.
