Warning siren test planned for Oct. 2
The next test of the Rock County Outdoor Warning System will be at 12:05 p.m. Oct. 2. The test signal will be one or two minutes long.
The siren tests run annually from April through October.
A steady tone lasting three to five minutes is the “take cover” signal that a tornado warning has been issued for Rock County and that residents should immediately take shelter.
If residents find the siren in their area is not working, they should call 608-758-8440.
